What they are

Cookies and similar technologies (the browser's local storage, session storage and the app cache) store information on your device. Those strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for do not need your consent; the rest do.

Sagas only uses its own cookies. There are no advertising or social media cookies, and fonts are served from our own domain.

Analytics

Only if you accept them:

NameTypePurposeDuration
sagas:deviceLocal storageRandom identifier for this device to count listeners and see where an episode is dropped. With it we also send your account if you are signed in, your approximate region and city, the page you came from and your browser.Until you withdraw consent (we delete it at that moment) or clear your data. Statistics are kept for 25 months.

If you do not accept them, no identifier is created and we only count anonymous plays: episode, position in the audio, language and country.

How to accept, reject or change your choice

The first time you visit we ask you with three options of equal weight: Accept, Reject and Settings. Closing the notice with Escape does not count as accepting.

You can change your choice at any time from “Privacy preferences” at the bottom of every page, or from Profile › Privacy: . If you withdraw consent, we delete this device's identifier at that moment and later plays are counted without identifiers.

You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. We will ask you again after 12 months.
